“He doesn’t fit the stereotype…”
“I have known Greg for almost a year now. He has totally changed my idea of what a real estate agent should be. He doesn’t fit the stereotype of what I always thought a successful agent should be: affiliation with a national firm (like Coldwell Banker); face and name plastered in the newspaper and real estate magazines ads every week; couple of assistants working with him. You get the idea. But Greg IS the successful real estate guy I would recommend to anyone, because HE GETS THE JOB DONE. And quite painlessly, I might add. I’ve lived in Lancaster since 1966, so I thought I knew who the good real estate agents in Lancaster were, until I went to list my own home. All the guys I talked to whom I thought were the “good real estate agents” were only interested in my signing a contract with them, not doing what was best for me. Greg talked to me and met with me and got me more money for the sale of my home than any other agent said was possible. He also then agreed to represent me in a difficult situation involving buying a property in another county, when no other agent in Lancaster County wanted to deal with another county’s real estate boards and goofy practices. Ultimately, I did not buy the property, but Greg is now representing me for the purchase of what I hope will be my new home –which is actually a commercial listing that, as a result, has had its own set of headaches such as zoning issues, etc. (which I am sure many agents would have backed away from, but not Greg.) He has hung in there with me through inspections, numerous offers and counteroffers, a whacky egotistical owner—you name it, and has become a good friend to me in the process. Plenty of other folks who think they know Lancaster real estate may not even know Greg’s name. Don’t be fooled by their ignorance. You won’t regret having him represent you in order to find a home”
